INSTRUCTIONS FOR ONLINE PARTICIPATION IN ICPME 2024

1. Submission of Abstracts and Full Papers:

• Authors who are interested in participating remotely in ICPME 2024 must submit their abstracts and full papers within the specified dates.

2. Online Registration:

• When submitting their works, authors must clearly indicate their preference for the "Online Presentation" format.

3. Selection by the Scientific Committee:

• Upon receipt, abstracts and papers will be reviewed by members of the Scientific Committee.
• The top 40 online presentations will be selected, and the authors of these will be invited to present their works via the Zoom platform during the congress.

4. Preparation for Zoom Presentation:

• Selected authors must prepare a presentation using the PowerPoint format specified by CIDIP 2024.
• The communication presentation will be developed online, according to the program, through the Zoom platform. You will receive the instructions for the connection before the event. Please note that you also need to create a backup video that will only be used in case of connection issues. The length of the video will be 10 minutes maximum. The presentation needs to be created using the Congress template. The video must show the presentation and your camera in the down-right corner. Ensure the presentation is displayed correctly and that your video does not overlap with relevant information on the slides. You can check these instructions from previous editions for guidance. The video must be uploaded by 12/06/2024. Choose “Submit your video” on the author’s page for submission.

  The name of the file must be CODE_Sirname; for example: 01-099_Paneque. The format of the video must be *.mp4.

5. Non-Selected Presentation for Zoom:

• The online presentations not selected for live-online mode will be changed to poster presentations. The poster must be created using the Congress template for the poster. You can download the template from the authors’s page. Also, a 5-minute video explaining the communication must be submitted. The video must show only yourself. No presentation is needed for this video. The poster and video must be uploaded by 12/06/2024. Choose “Submit your poster” and “Submit your video” on the author’s page for submission.
• The organization will print the posters and make both the posters and videos available to in-person attendees during the event.
• The name of the file must be CODE_Sirname; for example: 01-099_Paneque. The format of the video must be *.mp4. The format of the poster must be *:pdf

These instructions ensure that online participants have the opportunity to present their work via Zoom, while those whose presentations are not selected for this format have the option to share their research through posters and videos, which will be available to both in-person attendees and online participants at the event.

INSTRUCCIONES PARA LA PARTICIPACIÓN ONLINE EN EL CIDIP 2024

1. Presentación de Resúmenes y Comunicaciones Completas:

• Los autores interesados en participar a distancia en el CIDIP 2024 deben enviar sus resúmenes y comunicaciones completas dentro de las fechas establecidas.

2. Inscripción Online:

• Al enviar sus trabajos, los autores deben indicar claramente que optan por la "Forma de presentación" en línea.

3. Selección por el Comité Científico:

• Después de la recepción, los resúmenes y comunicaciones serán revisados por los miembros del Comité Científico.
• Se seleccionarán las 40 mejores comunicaciones online, y a los autores de estas se les invitará a presentar sus trabajos a través de la plataforma Zoom durante los días del congreso.

4. Preparación para la Presentación en Zoom:

• Los autores seleccionados deben preparar una presentación utilizando el formato PowerPoint especificado por el CIDIP 2024.
• La presentación de la comunicación se desarrollará en línea, de acuerdo con el programa, a través de la plataforma Zoom. Recibirá las instrucciones para la conexión antes del evento. Tenga en cuenta que también necesita crear un video de respaldo que solo se utilizará en caso de problemas de conexión. La duración del video será de un máximo de 10 minutos. La presentación debe ser creada utilizando la plantilla del Congreso. El video debe mostrar la presentación y su cámara en la esquina inferior derecha. Asegúrese de que la presentación se muestre correctamente y de que su video no se superponga con información relevante en las diapositivas. 5. Presentación no Seleccionada para Zoom:

• Las presentaciones en línea que no sean seleccionadas para el modo en vivo en línea se cambiarán a presentaciones de póster. El póster debe ser creado utilizando la plantilla del Congreso para pósteres. Puede descargar la plantilla desde la página del autor. Además, debe enviarse un video de 5 minutos explicando la comunicación. El video debe mostrar solo a usted. No se necesita una presentación para este video. El póster y el video deben ser subidos antes del 12/06/2024. Elija "Submit your poster" y "Submit your video" en la página del autor para la presentación.
• El nombre del archivo debe ser CODIGO_Apellido; por ejemplo: 01-099_Paneque. El formato del video debe ser .mp4. El formato del póster debe ser .pdf
• La organización imprimirá los pósters y pondrá a disposición de los asistentes presenciales tanto los pósters como los videos durante el evento.

Estas instrucciones aseguran que los participantes online tengan la oportunidad de presentar su trabajo a través de Zoom, mientras que aquellos cuyas presentaciones no sean seleccionadas para esta modalidad tendrán la opción de compartir su investigación a través de posters y videos que estarán disponibles para los asistentes presenciales en el evento, así como para los participantes online.
