July 16, 2025 – Discovering the North of the North
9:30 AM: Departure by bus from the Campus towards Cedeira, along a scenic route along the Ártabra coast.
10:15 AM: Panoramic tour of Cedeira and short stop for coffee and restrooms.
10:45 AM: Departure from Cedeira towards the Serra da Capelada.
11:15 AM: Visit to Vixía de Herbeira, the highest cliffs in Continental Europe, 620 meters above sea level.
12:15 PM: Guided tour of San Andrés de Teixido, the second most visited sanctuary in Galicia after the Santiago Cathedral — a magical place full of legends, traditions, and Atlantic landscapes.
12:45 PM: Free time in San Andrés to stroll through the village, shop, or simply enjoy a small plate of goose barnacles while looking out at the sea.
2:00 PM: Departure from San Andrés to Cedeira.
2:30 PM: Lunch in Cedeira.
5:00 PM: Guided visit to the Museum of the Seas (Museo dos Mares) in Cedeira.
7:00 PM: Visit to A Frouxeira Lighthouse in Meirás.
8:00 PM: Return to Ferrol.

9:30 Salida desde el Campus en bus hacia Cedeira en recorrido panorámico por la costa ártabra.
10:15 Recorrido panorámico por Cedeira y parada breve para café y baños.
10:45 Salida desde Cedeira hacia la Serra da Capelada.
11:15 Visita a Vixia de Herbeira, los acantilados más altos de la Europa Continental, 620m sobre el nivel del mar.
12:15 Visita guiada a San Andrés de Teixido, el segundo santuario más visita de Galicia después de la catedral de Santiago, un lugar mágico lleno de leyendas, tradición y paisajes atlánticos.
12:45 Tiempo libre en San Andrés para pasear por el pueblo, hacer compras o simplemente
disfrutar de una tapita de percebes mirando al mar.
14:00 Salida de San Andrés hacia Cedeira.
14:30 Comida en Cedeira
17:00 Visita guiada al Museo dos Mares de Cedeira.
19:00 Visita al faro de A Frouxeira en Meirás.
20:00 Regreso a Ferrol
July 17, 2025 – Ferrol and the Treasures of Its Ría
9:15 AM: Departure by bus from the Campus.
9:30 AM: Stop at the Post Office (Correos) to begin a walking tour of the historic center, exploring the Magdalena neighborhood.
10:30 AM: Meet the bus at the Arsenal Gate (Parque Gate) to access the naval base. Visit to the Arsenal and a Frigate and/or the Naval Museum.
1:00 PM: Free time in the city center (starting at Correos) for a walk, a beer, or some shopping.
1:30 PM: Group pickup at Correos and transfer to the restaurant.
1:40 – 3:40 PM: Lunch.
4:00 PM: Boat ride through the estuary with a stop at San Felipe Castle.
4:45 PM: Guided tour of San Felipe Castle.
5:45 PM: Departure from the Castle by bus for a panoramic tour of the beaches and Monteventoso viewpoint.
7:00 PM: End of the tour at the Campus.
The program includes access to social events of the congress and the Closing Dinner at the Parador de Ferrol (July 17)

9:15 Salida desde el Campus en bus.
9:30 Parada en Correos para iniciar un paseo peatonal por el casco histórico recorriendo el barrio de la Magdalena.
10:30 Encuentro con el bus en la puerta del Arsenal (puerta de Parque) para acceder a la base
naval. Visita al Arsenal y Fragata y/o Museo Naval.
13:00 Tiempo libre en el centro desde Correos, para paseo, cervecita o compras.
13:30 Recogida grupo en Correos y traslado al restaurante.
13:40 – 15:40 Comida
16:00 Paseo en lancha por la Ría y parada en el castillo de San Felipe.
16:45 Visita guiada por el Castillo de San Felipe.
17:45 Salida del Castillo en bus para recorrido panorámico playas y mirador de Monteventoso.
19:00 Final visita en el Campus.
El programa incluye asistencia a eventos sociales del congreso y Cena de Clausura en Parador de Ferrol (17 de julio)
