CIDIP 2025: A Global Meeting of Excellence in Project Management
The 29th International Congress on Project Management and Engineering (CIDIP 2025) was held in Ferrol, Spain, on 16–17 July 2025, bringing together researchers, academics and professionals to share knowledge, research and experiences in Project Management and Engineering.
The congress was organised by the Escuela Politécnica de Ingeniería de Ferrol at the Universidade da Coruña, together with the Spanish Association of Project Management and Engineering (AEIPRO – IPMA Spain).
CIDIP 2025 was held in a hybrid format, combining on-site participation with remote presentations. The scientific programme included oral communications and posters covering the different thematic areas of Project Management and Engineering, as well as opportunities for discussion, knowledge exchange and professional networking.
The International Seminar on Project Management and Engineering (ISoPM) formed part of the congress programme, featuring communications and keynote lectures in English and strengthening the international dimension of the event.
The congress proceedings include the peer-reviewed contributions presented and defended during CIDIP 2025. The proceedings are indexed in Scopus and the published contributions have assigned DOIs, contributing to the dissemination and international visibility of the research presented at the congress.
CIDIP 2025 represented the 29th edition of a congress with a long-standing trajectory as a meeting point for the scientific, academic and professional communities working in Project Management and Engineering.

Un total de 35 comunicaciones han sido seleccionadas por el Comité Científico del congreso por su calidad, relevancia y aporte a los campos de la gestión de proyectos y la ingeniería. Estas ponencias se presentarán desde la Sala 5, habilitada con un sistema de retransmisión en directo, y contarán con una introducción por parte del equipo organizador.

Escuela Politécnica de Ingeniería de Ferrol
The Escuela Politécnica de Ingeniería de Ferrol (EPEF) has a wide range of degrees in the field of Industrial Engineering and Naval Engineering.
The Universidade da Coruña is territorially structured into the A Coruña campus and the Ferrol campus.
The EPEF occupies the Old Medical Pavilion for three hundred beds for non-commissioned officers, a polyclinic and general services, built around 1945 by the “Council in charge of military naval construction” and its “El Ferrol del Caudillo factory” on the site of the original “Hospital Nuestra Sra. de los Dolores”, which began to function on an old bitumen depot in 1761 and which, after numerous extensions, was partially destroyed by fire on February 6, 1891. The building was rehabilitated by the University of Coruña in two phases that began in 1991 and 1994 respectively.
It currently hosts the degrees of “Industrial Engineering” and “Naval and Ocean Engineering”
