Lugo will host the 31st International Congress on Project Management and Engineering in 2027. The Congress, or XXXI Congreso Internacional de Dirección e Ingeniería de Proyectos (CIDIP) in Spanish, will continue more than three decades of scientific and professional exchange, bringing together researchers, academics, professionals, students, early-career researchers, companies and institutions in project management and engineering.
CIDIP 2027 at Campus Terra (Lugo)
CIDIP 2027 will be held at the Escola Politécnica Superior de Enxeñaría, Lugo (Campus Terra), Universidade de Santiago de Compostela (USC), following the successful bid led by the PROePLA – Proxectos e Planificación research group (GI-1716).
The 31st edition will be organised by PROePLA and AEIPRO – IPMA Spain, continuing the Congress’s long-standing collaboration between universities, researchers and the professional project management and engineering community.
A World Heritage setting
Located in Galicia, in north-western Spain, Lugo combines a strong academic and research environment with a historic setting. The city is home to the Roman Walls of Lugo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Europe’s best-preserved Roman fortifications.
With its distinctive Galician identity and connection between heritage, academic life and innovation, Lugo will offer CIDIP 2027 a key setting for knowledge exchange, collaboration and professional connections.
