7th to 9th July 2026 / Castellón de la Plana - Spain
30th International Congress on Project Management and Engineering
A historic 30th edition bringing together the international project management and engineering community
The 30th International Congress on Project Management and Engineering (CIDIP 2026) was held in Castellón de la Plana, Spain, from 7 to 9 July 2026, organised by the Universitat Jaume I (UJI) – School of Technology and Experimental Sciences (ESTCE) and the Spanish Association for Project Management and Engineering (AEIPRO–IPMA Spain).
The Congress brought together researchers, academics, professionals and students from different countries to share knowledge, research and professional experience across the broad fields of Project Management and Engineering.
CIDIP 2026 was held in a hybrid format, combining on-site and online participation. The scientific programme included oral presentations and posters, thematic panels, discussion sessions and networking opportunities, providing different spaces for scientific exchange and professional interaction.
The programme also included the International Seminar on Project Management and Engineering (ISoPM), the international programme of CIDIP, featuring keynote lectures, presentations and a high-level round table conducted entirely in English. The seminar brought together internationally recognised experts to discuss some of the major challenges shaping the present and future of project management and engineering.
The scientific contributions presented at CIDIP 2026 form part of the Congress proceedings, indexed in Scopus and published with DOIs, contributing to the dissemination and international visibility of the research presented at the Congress.
The 30th edition also recognised scientific excellence and emerging talent through the different CIDIP Awards, including awards for Master’s theses (TFM), young researchers and outstanding scientific contributions.
Three decades after its first edition, CIDIP 2026 marked another milestone in the history of the International Congress on Project Management and Engineering, strengthening its role as a meeting point for the international scientific and professional community and as a forum for sharing research, experience and new perspectives on the future of the profession.

Scientific Committee
The Scientific Committee of CIDIP plays a fundamental role in evaluating, promoting, and overseeing the quality of the research presented at the International Congress on Project Management and Engineering. Its primary function is to ensure that accepted papers meet the scientific and academic standards required in the field of project management and engineering.
Among its most important responsibilities is the review and evaluation of scientific papers through a peer-review process, generally double-blind, in which experts from various fields analyze the originality, relevance, and methodological rigor of the submissions. This ensures the quality of publications and fosters academic excellence within the congress.
Additionally, the Scientific Committee collaborates in selecting speakers and keynote presenters, prioritizing those who contribute innovative knowledge and advance the discipline.
Another key function is providing strategic guidance to ICPME, advising the organization on improvements in evaluation processes and knowledge dissemination. In summary, the ICPME Scientific Committee is the foundation that upholds the quality and prestige of the congress.
