A New Visual Identity for the Future
Over thirty editions, researchers, universities, professionals, companies and institutions from numerous countries have found in CIDIP a forum in which to present more than 6,000 scientific papers, share experiences, establish collaborations and discuss the evolution of the discipline.
The Congress will meet again in Lugo, where its 31st edition will take place from 6 to 8 July 2027 at the Campus Terra of the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela.
The new visual identity emerges precisely from this combination of heritage and future. The new symbol retains elements connected to the Congress’s historic identity while reinterpreting them through a more contemporary, open and adaptable graphic language, suitable for different digital environments and communication formats.
The centre, circles, arcs and lines preserve the ideas of direction, connection and movement. A particularly prominent addition is the globe, representing the international dimension achieved by the Congress and the diversity of perspectives, disciplines and backgrounds that come together at each edition.
The new image seeks to express four essential characteristics of CIDIP: the continuity of a well-established trajectory, its international reach, its connection with the host territory and each of the venues that welcome the Congress, and its role as a meeting point for science, professional practice and innovation.
The international dimension is given an explicit presence in the new symbol. Throughout successive editions, the Congress has expanded its scientific and professional community beyond national borders, and the globe represents this global vocation and the diversity of perspectives that enrich each gathering.
The new image has also been conceived to provide the Congress with a common, recognisable and consistent identity over time, regardless of the city hosting each edition. This continuity will progressively strengthen recognition of the Congress and facilitate its communication across social media, audiovisual materials, programmes, accreditation materials and other communication formats.
At the same time, the identity will retain the flexibility needed for each edition to establish its own connection with the host city, university and territory.After 30 editions and more than 6,000 scientific papers presented, CIDIP is opening a new visual chapter while preserving what lies at the heart of the Congress: a community built around knowledge, engineering and project management.

It also means developing competencies, professional judgment and the ability to adapt in an increasingly complex and rapidly changing environment.
