The organization of the 30th International Congress on Project Management and Engineering (CIDIP/ICPME 2026), which this year will take place from July 7 to 9 at the Universitat Jaume I in Castellón de la Plana, officially announces the composition of the committees that will lead this edition, reaffirming the Congress’s position as one of the leading international forums in the field of project management and project engineering.
The Honorary Committee is headed by distinguished authorities from the institutional and academic spheres, whose participation reinforces the strategic support for the Congress. Among other personalities, it is composed of:
- Diana Morant Ripoll, Minister of Science, Innovation and Universities.
- Eva Alcón Soler, Rector of the Universitat Jaume I.
- Begoña Carrasco, Mayor of Castellón de la Plana.
- Marta Barrachina Mateu, President of the Diputación Provincial de Castellón.
- César Franco Ramos, President of the Consejo General de Colegios Oficiales de Ingenieros Industriales (CGCOII).
The Organizing Committee, responsible for the overall planning and coordination of the event, is led by:
- María Dolores Bovea Edo, Chair of the Organizing Committee – Universitat Jaume I.
- M. Socorro García Cascales, Vice-Chair of the Organizing Committee – President of AEIPRO IPMA_Spain.
- Vanesa Lo Iacono, Congress Director – Universitat Politècnica de València.
- Angela Paneque, Congress Secretary.
Meanwhile, the Scientific Committee, responsible for ensuring academic rigor, the peer-review process, and the quality of the contributions presented, is chaired by:
- Francisco Ortega Fernández, Chair of the Scientific Committee – Universidad de Oviedo.
- Francisco Zamora Polo, Secretary of the Scientific Committee – Universidad de Sevilla.
The leadership of renowned researchers from prestigious Spanish universities ensures a strong, multidisciplinary scientific program aligned with the main current challenges in project management and project engineering.
In this year’s edition, more than 300 papers will be presented, representing a historic milestone.
