Mladen Vukomanović, IPMA President, to Participate as a Guest Speaker at ISoPM during CIDIP / ICPME 2026
Mladen Vukomanović, President of the International Project Management Association (IPMA), will participate as a guest speaker at the International Seminar on Project Management and Engineering (ISoPM), the international programme of the 30th International Congress on Project Management and Engineering (CIDIP /I CPME 2026).
Mladen Vukomanović will deliver the keynote presentation entitled ‘Project Management as a Vehicle for Sustainability, Ethics and Digital Transformation‘, in which he will explore the role of project management as a key enabler of sustainability, professional ethics and digital transformation processes that are reshaping organisations, industries and societies around the world.
His participation represents an exceptional opportunity to gain insights from one of the most influential leaders in the profession at a time when project management faces increasingly complex challenges related to sustainable transition, digitalisation and the creation of long-term value for society.
An International Reference in Project Management
Mladen Vukomanović has served as President of the International Project Management Association (IPMA) since January 2024. IPMA brings together project management associations from around the world and is widely recognised as one of the leading international organisations in the development of professional standards, competencies and certification systems. Prior to his presidency, he served as Vice President of IPMA, actively contributing to the global growth and strengthening of the association.
A university professor, board chair and highly experienced project professional, he has built an extensive international career across both for-profit and non-profit organisations. His expertise includes project management, construction management, Building Information Modelling (BIM) and digital transformation.
Throughout his career, he has held leadership and consultancy positions across a variety of sectors, including architecture, engineering and construction (AEC), the oil and gas industry, and the third sector. His work has consistently focused on facilitating sustainable social change, advancing the project management profession and promoting the practical application of project management to create meaningful impact in organisations and society.
Widely respected within the project management community, he holds some of the profession’s most prestigious certifications, including IPMA Level A certification in both Project Management and Coaching & Consulting, as well as numerous professional awards and distinctions.
Strengthening the International Dimension of the Congress
ISoPM promotes the participation of international authors and delegates while reinforcing the global positioning of the Congress. Conducted entirely in English, the seminar is led by two internationally recognised Co-Chairs, Jesús Martínez Almela and Wolfgang Glitscher, whose professional, academic and institutional backgrounds contribute significantly to the international character of this edition.
The 30th International Congress on Project Management and Engineering (CIDIP/ICPME 2026), organised by the Universitat Jaume I – School of Technology and Experimental Sciences (ESTCE) and AEIPRO–IPMA Spain, will take place from 7 to 9 July 2026 in Castellón de la Plana (Spain).
